A security engineer goes through your office suite, your email and your website. Remotely, one-off and for a fixed price.
Who the check is for
For freelancers and small businesses with a few employees. Your email and files are in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and you have your own domain name and a website. There is no IT department. Someone set it all up at some point, and whether it is still set up properly, nobody really knows. The check finds that out for you and lists what can be improved.

Accounts: the fake sign-in page
Someone gets an email with a link to a sign-in page that looks real, and enters their password there. Someone without permission then reads along in the mailbox and, from that account, sends your customers an invoice with a different bank account number. We check how the security of signing in has been set up. That makes it less likely that a stolen password is enough to get in.
Accounts: who can still get in
A former employee can still sign in, because their account was never switched off. Or there are more administrators than needed, and every administrator account can change everything if someone else gets hold of it. We check who the administrators are and whether the accounts of people who no longer work for you are really switched off. Anything that should be tighter goes in the report.
Email settings: email in your name
Someone sends email that appears to come from your business, with your domain name as the sender. For your customers that is hard to spot. The email settings of your domain name determine how easy that is. We check how they are set up, so forged email in your name is less likely to reach your customers.
Website: outdated software
A website runs on software, such as WordPress with its plugins. If that software is not updated, known vulnerabilities stay open. They can be abused, for example to send visitors on to a scam site. We look at the padlock in the address bar (the certificate), whether the software is up to date and whether it contains known vulnerabilities. That makes it less likely that your website is turned against you.
What the check is not
This is not a full IT audit. The check covers three things: the accounts in your office suite, the email settings of your domain name and your website. Laptops, the network, backups and policy (the agreements within your business on how you handle IT) are outside it. That way you know in advance what you do and do not get.

For the accounts we need to be able to look inside your office suite. That can be done, for example, with temporary read-only access, or by looking together in a video call. We agree with you in advance what suits you best.
The check, remotely
We go through the accounts, the email settings and the website. Everything is done remotely, nobody needs to come to your premises.
The report
You get a report with the findings and, for each finding, concrete steps to put it right. After that the check is done: one-off, no subscription.
What it costs
€395, one-off (excl. VAT), also if you use both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. A fixed price, no subscription.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay €395 once (excl. VAT) and receive the report. There is no subscription and no ongoing maintenance.
Will you come to our premises?
No, the check is done entirely remotely.
What do I get afterwards?
A short report with the findings. For each finding it says what is going on and which steps put it right.
Do you also fix the findings?
That is optional and separate from the check. You can fix the findings yourself, or with your own IT person, using the report. If you would like us to do it, we agree that with you separately.

What do I need to arrange myself?
For the accounts we need to be able to look inside your office suite, for example through temporary read-only access or together in a video call. We agree with you in advance how we do that.
Why does a security check matter?
Small businesses usually have no IT department. Settings are often set up once and never looked at again. A mistake in access or email settings is usually only noticed when something goes wrong.
